Adult and Pediatric Family Advisory Councils (PFAC) were recently honored with two PFACtor Awards at the 7th annual Patient Experience Symposium, hosted by the ICD Healthcare Network. The ICD Healthcare Network’s inaugural PFACtor Awards recognize leadership, creativity, and innovation factors in the implementation of these volunteer groups and other organizations with the same function. For the 23rd consecutive year, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center has been recognized as a Best Hospital for Cancer Care by U.S. News and World Report. This year, it ranked No. 5 in the nation, and was noted for being high performing in leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and surgery for colon, lung, ovarian, uterine, and prostate cancer.
