“Unity for Life”

Yesterday, at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, an initiative titled “Unity for Life” was officially concluded—an initiative that, over the course of several months, evolved into a nationwide movement, uniting medical institutions across Armenia around a single mission: saving lives.

Implemented in a relay format, the initiative covered a number of regions of the republic as well as Yerevan, fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation, cooperation, and social responsibility aimed at strengthening the healthcare system.

The event was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, and Deputy Minister Armen Gasparyan, who highly praised the significance of the initiative and its impact on public health.

In his speech, the Director of the Yeolyan Center, Hayk Grigoryan, emphasized the vital role of blood donation in medicine, highlighting in particular the active participation and coordinated efforts of regional medical centers, which became one of the key pillars of the initiative’s success.

Throughout the day, the staff of the Yeolyan Center once again joined voluntary blood donation, demonstrating by personal example that humanity, dedication, and teamwork can translate into real lifesaving impact.

One of the most symbolic moments of the event was the shared image created together with the Center’s young patients—a powerful reminder that every blood donation, every act of participation, and every form of unity is ultimately directed toward the future.
