Department of Surgery

Established in 2017, the Department of Surgery at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center provides essential surgical care for patients with hematological and oncological conditions.

Our Services Include:

Gastrointestinal Surgery: Treatment of surgical diseases of the stomach, small intestine, and colon.
Hepatobiliary Surgery: Management of liver abscesses and cysts (including parasitic), gallstone disease, and obstructive biliary disorders.
Hernia Repair: Includes common and complex hernias, such as diaphragmatic hernias.
Proctology: Surgical treatment of rectal and anal conditions.
Breast Surgery: Procedures for benign and malignant breast diseases, including extensive lymph node dissection.
Reconstructive Surgery: Restorative procedures for gastrointestinal tract diseases.
Surgical Support for Hematology: Biopsies (e.g., lymph nodes), splenectomy, and treatment of chemotherapy-related complications.
Vascular Surgery: Including crossectomy and venectomy.
Thoracic Surgery: Procedures such as pleural puncture, drainage, and mediastinal lymph node biopsy.
Laparoscopy: Diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures.
Central Venous Access: Placement of long-term devices such as ports, tunneled catheters, and PICC lines.

Our surgical suites are equipped with advanced technology, including a full laparoscopic system, C-arm fluoroscopy, ultrasound navigation, and a modern electrocautery unit.
