Duplex Ultrasound Examination
Duplex ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging method used to detect vascular issues, such as atherosclerosis, thrombosis, and varicose veins, at an early stage. It helps monitor blood circulation disorders and assess the condition of blood vessels following surgical interventions.
The procedure is painless, safe, and requires no special preparation. It is widely used for initial diagnosis and for evaluating the effectiveness of ongoing treatment.
At the Instrumental Diagnostics Department of the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, duplex ultrasound is performed for the following areas:
- Neck vessels
- Lower extremity vessels
- Upper extremity vessels
