Karen Meliksetyan Participates in The Max Foundation’s Annual “Maximize Life Gala”

Karen Meliksetyan, Head of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Department at the “Yeolyan” Hematology and Oncology Center, took part as an honored guest in The Max Foundation’s annual “Maximize Life Gala.” This important event not only raises awareness about cancer but also helps fundraise to support patients around the world.

In addition, Karen Meliksetyan participated in the first meeting of the Foundation’s new initiative called “Think Thank.” This ongoing initiative aims to shape the foundation’s future strategy and address the challenges and barriers related to equal access to medications and medical services.

The U.S.-based charity The Max Foundation has long been one of the most dedicated partners of our center. The foundation is committed to supporting cancer patients by ensuring access to diagnostics, life-saving medications, and vital medical technologies globally.

Thanks to the foundation’s significant support, patients at our center with chronic lymphocytic leukemia now have access to the cutting-edge medication Brukinsa (Zanubrutinib), which opens up new possibilities and significantly improves quality of life.
