June 21 Marks Medical Workers’ Day in Armenia

In keeping with tradition, Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center celebrated Medical Workers’ Day, honoring the dedication and professionalism of its healthcare staff.

The Center’s Director, Hayk Grigoryan, congratulated all medical professionals, emphasizing their invaluable contribution and unwavering commitment to patient care. He noted that high-quality healthcare is built not only on knowledge and expertise but also on compassion, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.

This year, in recognition of World Blood Donor Day, certificates of appreciation were presented to the staff of the regional Blood Service departments in Gyumri, Vanadzor, Armavir, Hrazdan, and Goris, as well as to the team at the Center’s main Blood Service.

Hayk Grigoryan also highlighted the indispensable role of Blood Service laboratory professionals, whose often unseen but vital work is essential to ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the entire transfusion process.

He further emphasized that this day is not dedicated solely to healthcare professionals. Every member of the Center’s team plays a meaningful role in strengthening the healthcare system through their dedication and daily work.
