International Expertise for Armenian Nurses: Sarah Lowry to Speak at the Nursing Satellite Symposium
Sarah Lowry (DNP) is an experienced oncology and palliative care nurse specialist who combines clinical practice, education, and research in her professional work. She currently teaches at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) as part of the School of Medicine.
Her professional focus includes improving support for oncology patients, managing complex pain conditions, and integrating palliative care throughout the course of treatment.
Sarah Lowry is actively involved in the development and implementation of nursing education programs, serves as a faculty member of the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), and participates in international educational initiatives in various countries.
As a speaker at the Nursing Satellite Symposium, she will introduce Armenian nurses to modern approaches, practical examples, and clinical decision-making based on real-world experience.
