“1/5000”: A Project Aimed at Promoting Gratuitous and Regular Blood Donation in Armenia

The only source of blood is people. It is only through blood donors that the necessary blood reserves can be replenished to save human lives.

“1/5000” is a club created to unite individuals who are willing to donate blood regularly, 2-4 times a year, to save lives through their blood.

The first honorary member of the “1/5000” club was Martin Galstyan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia.

Anyone without contraindications can become a blood donor.

To join this humanitarian initiative, you can visit the Blood Bank at the Hematology and Oncology Center “Yeolyan” from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 12:30.
