The demand for blood in Armenia remains high. At the same time, there has been a steady increase in the number of donors, including voluntary donors. This positive trend plays an important role in ensuring sufficient blood reserves.

At the same time, the distribution of blood groups also affects availability. The most common blood group in Armenia is A (II) Rh+, and therefore, the demand for it is also high. The rarest blood group is AB (IV) Rh−, which means that both demand and supply for this type are comparatively low due to its low prevalence in the population.
