Advancing Local Practice Through Global Expertise: The Yeolyan Center Continues to Host Leading Specialists

The Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center welcomed Professor Stefan Bielack, a German pediatric hematologist-oncologist and Head of the Department of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology at Klinikum Stuttgart.

During the visit, the Center’s specialists presented Professor Bielack with the workflows and infrastructure of the pediatric departments. He also visited the Pediatric Palliative Care Center, where he became acquainted with the Center’s approaches to comprehensive patient care and its experience in organizing palliative services.

Professor Bielack has made significant contributions over many years to the treatment and research of sarcomas. He is actively involved in European clinical research and is recognized as one of the leading experts within international groups dedicated to the study of bone tumors. He has contributed to the development of European treatment guidelines and has authored numerous scientific publications.
