Modern Approaches to the Treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndromes: Scientific Meeting at the “Yeolyan” Center

Recently, the “Yeolyan” Hematology and Oncology Center hosted Dr. Ekaterina Balayan, a hematologist from the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden, Germany, who is the author of numerous scientific papers and publications, as well as a participant in international research projects.

Dr. Balayan delivered a presentation titled “Modern Approaches to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndromes”, highlighting the latest scientific advancements and innovative treatment methods in the field.

During her visit, the specialist toured the Center’s departments to become acquainted with its operations, advanced treatment approaches, and modern technologies. Dr. Balayan also took part in professional discussions with the medical staff, exchanging expertise on key topics in the field.

As a result of the meeting, a joint program in the field of scientific research on myelodysplastic syndromes is planned to be developed in the near future. This initiative will enhance the Center’s international collaboration opportunities and contribute to further research and clinical advancements in the field.
